Project Description
This maquette was sponsored by Crédit Général Industriel. It was conceived to welcome a dozen of spectators for a 7-minute show to present 7 extracts from the Apocalypse of Saint-John.
The setting in which the automata move was filmed by a Fisheye View Camera and projected onto a half sphere. The whole lot is supplemented with sound effects and the text is read by Michel ETCHEVERRY.

Technique
- Diameter of the Sphere : 2.50m (8.20 ft)
- Operated with pneumatic actuators and cam programmers
- Sound activated by a 4-track tape recorder
- 35mm film on closed-loop tape drive projected onto concave mirror
- Synchronisation of talking head with electronic system
